Amanta by Mario Bellini is a serene design, built for floor-level living. The black hard shell supports a generous cushion, newly upholstered with Corda Cameo by Designers Guild in natural (FDG2922). Soft texture, clear contour. The armchair is part of the modular system by C B Italia and can be appreciated individually or conceived as a building block. The proportions are calm, the expression objective. A piece of Italian modernism that allows for patina yet still appears fresh.
