The "8600" chair by Hans Ulrich Bitsch for Kusch und Co is a precise document of the 1980s. Visible chrome, clean lines, a construction that doesn't hide how it works. The powder-coated metal frame with cylindrical legs supports the seat and back as if floating. In between, a dark fabric stretches over chrome-plated tubes, making the geometry even clearer. A chair with a technical attitude, between high-tech and postmodern, produced in Germany.
