Carlo Bartoli's Model 4875 for Kartell brings the spirit of Italian postmodernism to the dining table. Designed in 1974, this example is a 1992 production. The chair is made entirely of molded ABS. Its silhouette is seamless, with soft curves, rounded legs, and a backrest that subtly supports the spine. Industrial yet refined in its lines, it exhibits visible scratches and signs of wear consistent with its age. There are no cracks; it is solid and lightweight. The underside is embossed with the Kartell logo. A functional object with a sculptural presence, it effortlessly bridges the gap between everyday use and collector's items.
