The HALO 250 embodies Swiss design culture of the 1970s: precise, functional, and understated. Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler developed this floor lamp in 1972, a quiet companion to everyday life. A slender, chrome-plated arm rotates on its own axis; the cylindrical reflector focuses the light from a dimmable halogen bulb. This allows the user to switch between focused task lighting and a soft, ambient light. The materials age gracefully: aluminum with subtle signs of wear, and technology designed for longevity. A lamp that makes a statement rather than ostentatiously displaying its presence – and serenely commands attention in both living and working spaces.
