The work cooperative Wohnhilfe was founded in 1945 by Jacob Müller to produce functional solid wood furniture for broad sections of the population. This modular shelf by Arthur Milani follows this principle: the frame and shelf elements can be disassembled and individually recombined. The piece shows clear but charming signs of use that tell its long history of use.
