The seat construction follows the 8-way hand-tied technique, a 19th-century method – noticeable in its tranquility and sturdiness. A three-seater with presence, translating classic proportions into contemporary spaces. Created as a Japan Edition in collaboration with Theodore Alexander and Nishimura Trading. Since 1979, Maitland-Smith has stood for handcrafted furniture. Its 218 cm width opens up space for conversation, reading, and contemplation. The patina appears authentic and serene.
