Das „Costela" Sofa zählt zu den bedeutendsten Entwürfen des brasilianischen Modernismus. Martin Eisler und Carlo Hauner gestalteten für Forma Brasil eine Sitzlandschaft aus acht geschwungenen Jacaranda-Lamellen, deren Rippenstruktur dem Sofa seinen Namen gibt. Die Kombination aus dunklem Tropenholz, emailliertem Stahl und dem neu bezogenen Bouclé-Stoff verleiht dem Stück eine ruhige, skulpturale Präsenz. Dieses 3-Sitzer Sofa aus den 1950er Jahren ist in sehr gutem Zustand erhalten.
