Vico Magistretti's Demetrio 45 demonstrates how far a single gesture can go. Artemide Milano produced these side tables in Italy in the 1960s: a single, seamlessly formed element that serves as both tabletop and legs. The square surface rests calmly on four softly rounded, integrated feet. In green, the piece appears both understated and playful, typical of the Italian plastics era. The two tables can be stacked and function individually or as a pair next to a sofa, bed, or armchair.
