The EA 124 by Charles and Ray Eames is part of the Aluminium Group from 1958. Instead of a bulky seat shell, a textile panel is stretched between two aluminium side panels. The result is light and precise, yet comfortable. The high backrest, tilt function, and swivel base make the armchair a quiet place for reading and relaxing. This particular piece has a chrome-plated frame and grey hopsack, which has been cleaned. Good condition with slight fading in color.
