Elegant yet casual: The Bastiano armchair by Tobia Scarpa combines a simple wooden frame with softly upholstered leather cushions, evoking the design language of the Corbusier chairs, yet interpreted in a more homely and unpretentious way. Originally designed for Gavina, the collection was later taken over by Knoll and became one of the most successful designs of its time. The frame has been newly lacquered black, the cognac-colored leather shows a beautiful, developed patina. A classic for anyone looking for a lounge chair with history.
