This flat, round wooden box from the 1980s showcases excellent woodturning craftsmanship. The fine stripes of light and darker wood tones appear calm and graphic without being obtrusive. It can be used as a serving accessory on a sideboard, for small items on a desk, or as a container for salt and spices on the dining table. An object that works through material and proportion. Traces of use are present and contribute to the wood's patina.
