Product details
This Victorian candy dish beautifully combines weight and lightness. Thick, pressed cobalt glass in a deep blue, oval in shape, with a starburst relief in the base. This is topped with a richly engraved, silver-plated lid featuring fine friezes and an elegant finial. A late 19th-century serving accessory that works well on a sideboard, bar cart, or dining table. The patina on the metal and the minor marks on the glass are part of its history.
