Product details
A cabinet by Matsumoto Mingei, rooted in the Japanese Mingei movement. Crafted from solid Mizume-Zakura with a calm, dark-toned grain. The upper section features a glazed display case for ceramics, glassware, or books; the lower section showcases the characteristic diamond-cut front, precisely carved with a subtle interplay of light and shadow. Classic mortise and tenon joints, solid proportions, designed to last for decades. The piece organizes and presents without being obtrusive. Equally at home in living and dining areas as in a commercial or retail setting. The calm, deep surface speaks of the material and the craftsmanship passed down through generations.
