Product details
Solidly crafted WMF bowl with lid made of silver-plated metal. Segmented, faceted surfaces define the body and lid; inside, a clear ribbed and compartmentalized division according to early WMF vocabulary. The central, round knob provides a calm accent. Standing on an elevated foot, the bowl appears light and prominent – reminiscent of hotel and serving ware from the 1930s to 1950s. The lid fits perfectly. Even patina, minor signs of use. Functional on the table, sculptural on the shelf. Solid in hand. Proportions are balanced. The relief gently catches the light.
