Two decorative plates made of Seltmann Weiden porcelain, part of the series "Lückel's Idyllic Village Life" by Christian Lückel. The motifs depict everyday life in the countryside: "On the Way to the Market" (1986) and "Fishermen's Departure" (1987), finely drawn and vibrantly colored, with the calm precision of classic collector's items. Framed in dark solid wood by Van Hygan and Smythe, the plates resemble small picture panels and can be easily integrated into a wall display. Minor signs of age-related wear.
