A Safari chair by Tito Agnoli for Bonacina, designed in the 1960s. Agnoli reimagines the lounge: a dark-stained, curved frame with flowing arm and leg elements supports a freely suspended seat upholstered in saddle leather. The tension-based construction provides support while remaining flexible. Visible seams, rivets, and adjustable straps demonstrate the craftsmanship. Low seat height, understated presence. Preserved in its original condition with an even patina. The leather is free of cracks and firm. The frame has two small dents but is structurally sound. A restrained expression of Italian modernism.
