Model 222 by Robert Mallet-Stevens embodies clear functionality. Designed in the early 1930s for the Villa Cavrois, this set is from an Italian production run by Pallucco Italia in the 1980s. Black metal frames, beige upholstery. Lightweight, stackable, and precisely proportioned. Quietly present in a dining room, studio, or café without being obtrusive. The chairs show signs of age, including scratches on the frames. A set of four that brings modernist minimalism to everyday life. Compact dimensions: W 35, D 48, H 81 cm; seat height 48 cm. Unmarked.
