Product details
This fruit bowl from the Longchamp manufactory brings the quiet charm of early 20th-century French ceramics to the table. The "Marrons" décor features chestnut leaves, husks, and chestnuts in polychrome, in black, brown, and green, in the spirit of Art Nouveau. The cream to ivory faience appears gently aged, with the glaze crazing typical of its age. As a compotier, it is equally a utilitarian object and a small collector's item that has a beautiful presence even when empty.
