A rare nutcracker by Carl Auböck, model 23, cast in brass. From the mid-20th century. Mid-century design in its purest form: a compact, sculptural silhouette, weighty in the hand, precise in its function. The surface displays a smooth, calm patina that accentuates the soft curves and lends warmth to the metal. Marked with the manufacturer's mark. Approximately 10.5 cm long, 7 cm in diameter, 4 cm high – a small object with a distinct presence on a table or sideboard.
