Product details
A pair of Bauhaus bedside tables by Mücke Melder, likely from the 1930s. Slender tubular steel frames with robust chrome plating, understated in line, clear in proportion. The wooden tops were previously painted a simple blue using traditional techniques, adding a graphic touch. The frames have been geometrically aligned; missing screws and tube caps have been replaced. The emblems, previously hidden beneath the paint, have been revealed, and both pieces are marked. A set with an honest patina, functional for everyday use, and striking next to a bed or sofa. The proportions appear light, the surfaces compact.
