A bedside table in the Bauhaus tradition. Black wooden surfaces, framed by chrome-plated tubular steel. One drawer, with a separate shelf below – clear function, calm proportions. Probably repainted in the past; recently completely disassembled, cleaned, and polished. The piece works just as well by the bed as it does next to an armchair. Its minimalist line harks back to early modernism of the 1930s, without nostalgia. A straightforward companion that balances material, use, and form.
