Product details

This Art Nouveau brass vide-poche is cast in a flowing, organic form. The body appears to have emerged from a movement, softly undulating and pleasant to the touch. Floral reliefs protrude from one end, daisy-like and intentionally asymmetrical, as is typical for Art Nouveau. The warm patina removes any harshness from the metal and gives the object depth. As a vide-poche on a sideboard or in the hallway, it connects everyday utility with sculpture on a small scale.
