A cake plate from the 1980s, made by Walther Glas. Art Deco revival in clean lines: an elongated format, supported by a delicate relief of a swan motif. The pressed glass plays with light and shadow; the surface alternates between smooth areas and precise contours. Suitable for cakes, pastries, or as a subtle centerpiece on a sideboard. A piece of everyday culture that harks back to the forms of the 1930s and was reinterpreted in 1980s production. Robust in use, understated in its design. Looks good on a long table or in a display cabinet.
