Product details
This large, hand-thrown stoneware piece is French, dating from the 1960s to 1970s, imbued with the spirit of the ateliers from Puisaye or La Borne. Its silhouette is clear and serene. It features a wide, warm, bulbous body, a narrow neck, a strong handle, and a distinctly shaped spout. The ash glaze is particularly beautiful: a muted khaki green on top that flows in long, natural streaks over the rim, transitioning into an earthy brown below. An object straddling the line between functional pottery and sculpture.
