Richard Essigs Kronleuchter aus den 1970ern übersetzt Space Age in eine klare, zweistufige Architektur. Ein filigran gebogenes Stahlrohrgestell in Orange trägt sechs Opalglas-Kugeln, unten großzügig gesetzt, oben wie ein ruhiger Abschluss. Das Licht bleibt weich und diffus, die Form bleibt präsent, auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand. Kleine Messingabsetzer im Gestell bringen Wärme in die Konstruktion und nehmen dem Orange jede Härte. Aufgearbeitet, mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren und geprüft. Neues 3 m Textilkabel in Orange ist bereits montiert.
