Gino Sarfatti's 16-light chandelier for Flos combines austerity and lightness. A chrome-plated cylinder supports 16 slender arms at two different heights. The light spreads calmly throughout the room, clear and precise, without decorative distraction. Sarfatti, founder of Arteluce and later continued at Flos, represents a modern concept of light as architecture. A lamp with a Mid-Century attitude and Space Age clarity, technically functional and in very good vintage condition.
