Product details
Two large candle holders from France, made in the 19th century for ecclesiastical use. Gilt bronze with a calm, aged patina. The shape quotes Gothic style: slender shafts with fleurons, openwork drip trays with quatrefoil motifs, and a three-legged, also open base. Together, they act like an architectural detail in the room. As a pair, they bring height, structure, and warm metallic light to a still life on a console, sideboard, or dining table. Signs of use and slight oxidation are age-related and consistent with their character.
