This French handcrafted candlestick from the 1960s to 1980s brings the serene, earthy aesthetic of La Borne into the room. Conceived in the tradition of Baudat, but unsigned. Pyritized stoneware with nuanced tones of khaki, rust, and brown. The wide, hourglass-shaped stem fits comfortably in the hand, while the small, elegant handle loop almost acts as a graphic detail. A sculptural object that is impressive even without a candle.
