Product details
This small carafe of ruby-red tinted, hand-blown glass or crystal dates from around 1890 to 1900. In the light, the color appears deep and warm; the fine air bubbles are a reminder of its handcrafted origin. Two geometrically engraved friezes run along the lower body as a calm, repeating pattern. The clear base provides a cool contrast to the ruby glass. The stopper was added later and is not original. A piece for the home bar, the set table, or as a silent object on the shelf.
