Product details

Murano glass carafe from the 1960s, deep cobalt blue. A clear glass handle and matching stopper add a calm, graphic touch. The amphora-like silhouette positions the carafe between functional and artistic. It works equally well as a decanter, vase, or sculptural piece. The material displays depth and subtle light refraction; the color is rich, never garish. An example of Italian mid-century glassmaking. Original condition with age-related wear. Height 38 cm, weight 850 g.
