Eine markante Vase der West German Pottery: Kreutz Keramik, Serie 223. Fat-Lava-Glasur auf tiefroter Basis, mit schwarzem Relief. Die Oberfläche wirkt grafisch und haptisch, mit lebendiger Struktur. Entstanden in den 1960er Jahren, Mid-Century im besten Sinn. Die Proportionen sind kompakt und präsent. Als Solitär oder in einer Gruppe mit anderen Stücken stark. Die Bodenmarke mit Seriennummer bestätigt Herkunft und Authentizität. Jede Glasur ist durch das Brennverfahren leicht variierend, wodurch ein Unikatcharakter entsteht. Die warme Rotnuance setzt einen ruhigen Akzent.
