An Italian Rococo dining set, seven pieces. Oval table on two pedestals, six chairs: four armchairs, two side chairs. White lacquered finish, sculpted moldings, and fine carved details. Upholstered backs and seats in a glossy fabric with a large damask pattern. The generous proportions support long banquets. Cabriolet legs, soft curves, ornamentation with substance. The length of 301 cm sets a standard. Carved aprons and the damask sheen create a quiet opulence. Works equally well in classic interiors and as a contrast in minimalist spaces. Vintage, well-used, with patina.
