Product details
A compact stool by Stacy Dukes for Artemide, designed and produced in the 1960s. Molded plastic in chestnut brown, with a calm, graphic silhouette. Its low height makes it suitable as a seat or a side table. Acquired in the 1970s as a display piece in a design furniture store, the surface shows a subtle, age-related patina. The piece is marked and in very good condition. Italian-made, with a mid-century character that avoids nostalgia. It fits well next to a sofa, bed, or in a hallway, adding a warm touch. Gently rounded edges and solid thickness convey a sense of calm in use. It harmonizes with wood, metal, and fabric, allowing the materiality of the pieces to shine through.
