This 19th-century Turkish Ottoman hammam bowl demonstrates how seamlessly function and ornamentation can be combined. The base features a sun motif with delicate rays, and a relief band runs around the rim, gently refracting the light. Over the years, the copper has developed a distinct patina, with discoloration and traces of use. As a storage bowl in the bathroom, for soap and jewelry, or as an object on a shelf, it appears calm and present. Please clean thoroughly before use.
