A Danish pendant lamp with strong character from the 1960s. The trumpet-shaped ceramic shade combines a calm cream-colored glaze with dark green embossed stripes and a clear brutalist form. The original ceramic canopy, which extends the design all the way to the ceiling, is particularly rare. The perforated pattern on the lower edge of the shade creates a soft, lively downward light pattern. The lamp appears sculptural and precise above a dining table or kitchen island. The solid ceramic and metal construction brings noticeable weight and requires a load-bearing ceiling.
