This pendant lamp by Peill & Putzler showcases the poetic side of German glass art. The solidly crafted, flower-shaped shade combines two textures: smooth on the inside, finely relief-like on the outside – a play of light and shadow. The gentle color gradient from almost transparent to warm brownish-gray creates a sense of calm and depth. A large E27 bulb with a golden reflector sits at the center like a flower head, providing glare-free, warm light. The heavy lamp hangs from a chain and canopy; the suspension can be shortened – ideal above a dining table, in a lounge, or in a hallway.
