Product details
A classic cantilever chair made of tubular steel, influenced by the Bauhaus tradition. Probably from the 1950s or 60s. The distinctive veneer adds warmth to the clean lines, while the cantilever mechanism provides a touch of elasticity. The chrome plating shows some localized corrosion but retains a rich shine. The wooden surfaces bear clear signs of use – a calm, authentic patina. With its compact proportions, the chair works equally well at the dining table or in a studio. The seating experience is springy without being soft – noticeably serene. Reduced in expression, clear in its stance. A piece with history, precise in both material and construction.
