Gastone Rinaldis „Egg Chair“ bringt die formale Klarheit der 70er Jahre auf den Punkt. Die halbeiförmige Sitzschale aus quer verarbeitetem, verchromtem Draht wirkt leicht und zugleich skulptural. Der freischwingende Rahmen aus Stahlrohr setzt dazu eine weiche, fließende Linie. Das grauweiße Kunstfell ergänzt den Entwurf um eine warme, fast wohnliche Note, ohne seinen futuristischen Ausdruck zu mindern.
