Product details
Charming fish service made of Czechoslovakian stoneware, created between the 1950s and 1970s. Six dessert plates and a matching platter pick up the organic fish shape with a fine sense of line and use. The decor in delicate blue nuances on a creamy white background appears light and restrained. Particularly beautiful are the small shiny eyes that give the service a quiet, almost narrative character. A rare set for the set table, with presence, without being loud.

- Material: Stoneware with glaze, creamy white base tone with blue decor
- Dimensions: Plates each approx. 21.5 x 22 x 2 cm, usable diameter approx. 18.9 cm; platter approx. 37 x 24 x 2 cm, usable width approx. 20 cm
- Condition: Very good vintage condition. One plate with a fine hairline crack on the upper fin. Slight age-related crazing of the glaze on the platter and some plates, especially on one plate. Very minor glaze abrasions on individual outer edges and hardly any cutlery marks.
- Origin: Czechoslovakia, 1950s to 1970s
- Special features: Set of 6 plates and 1 serving platter. Fish shape, inspired by French post-war service productions, such as Digoin or Sarreguemines. Rare ensemble with decorative and at the same time everyday character.
