Product details
A small wooden duck of Indian craftsmanship, probably from Rajasthan or Kashmir. Hand-carved and adorned with brass plates and copper inlays. The darker nuanced wood bears a tranquil patina, while the metals add warm, muted accents. The sitting posture appears almost graphic, with wings folded and slightly curved. The open beak is striking, as it is often closed in such objects. A serene object for a shelf, sideboard, or desk, more sculpture than decor.
