This traditional Tampung container from Lombok tells a story of everyday life and craftsmanship at the beginning of the 20th century. Woven from bamboo strips, plant fibers, and dried banana leaves, it appears both graphic and serene. Its oval cylindrical shape and the interplay of matte black and lightly patinated natural tones make it a harmonious object for a sideboard, shelf, or dining table. Traces of time are part of its charm and emphasize its character as a functional serving accessory and collector's item.
