This double tray from the Art Nouveau period translates nature into an object. Two mirrored, floral dishes meet. The contours appear to be in motion, with asymmetrical waves and a finely ribbed relief. The silver-plated metal softly captures light, making the piece look just as harmonious on a sideboard as it does on a set table. As a vintage object, it shows signs of oxidation that emphasize its patina and make its history visible.
