The Kangaroo coffee table by Mathieu Matégot is a classic nesting table from the 1950s. GUBI reissued the design true to the original in the early 2000s. Two powder-coated metal tables, a larger one in white and a smaller one in red, fit precisely into each other. Matégot's Rigitulle perforated sheet metal takes away the heaviness of the metal and allows light and space to pass through. The round cut-out in the white table frames the red insert, which stands minimally higher. This creates a quiet, sculptural effect in everyday life.
