Product details
Large cachepot from Faïencerie Onnaing, created around 1880 to 1900. The naturalistic relief shows a pumpkin, framed by broad leaves, pink blossoms, and intertwined handles. Particularly beautiful is the contrast between the turquoise glazed interior and the green, ochre, and rosy tones on the exterior. A decorative piece from the late 19th century, precisely reflecting the expressive design language of Onnaing production. Age-related traces are visible but remain subtle in their effect and emphasize the authentic character.

Material: Barbotine, glazed faience in green, pink, ochre, and turquoise
Dimensions: approx. 26 x 21 x 22.5 cm
Condition: Good age-appropriate condition. Fine, even crazing inside and out. Three minor chips on the rim measuring approx. 3 cm, 2.8 cm, and 1 cm. Slight enamel wear on the base. Small star-shaped impact mark on the inside of the base, discreet and not compromising the structure.
Origin: France, late 19th century, approx. 1880 to 1900
Special features: Naturalistic pumpkin decor in relief. Open, ornamentally crafted stand. Intertwined handles. Turquoise glazed interior with striking color contrast. Representative example of naturalistic Onnaing ceramics.
