This ashtray by Per Lütken for Holmegaard reads like a small piece of Danish glass history. Heavy, light blue glass that gently refracts the light and gives the object an almost sculptural presence. The organic shape is reminiscent of smoothly polished stone, typical of Lütken's Mid-Century designs. It acts as an object on a sideboard and as a precisely crafted tray on a table. The engraving on the underside refers to its origin and identifies it as a Holmegaard original.
