Product details
A prismatically cut ashtray made of alexandrite glass, designed by Cesare Toso for Fratelli Toso in the 1970s. The faceted form plays with light and edges; the neodymium-containing glass changes color depending on the lighting, from delicate lilac/pink to violet to light blue. A heavy, serene object that functions as an ashtray or a small glass holder. Its compact proportions – 15.5 cm in diameter, 5 cm high – make it comfortable to hold and, placed on a table or console, create a miniature color palette. Italian glasswork with precise handling of the material's depth.
