The Series 8000 armchair by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen showcases the quiet precision of 1980s Danish design. Characteristic is its clear, almost floating construction, which convincingly combines lightness and stability. Round seat and back surfaces soften the geometry and give the design a gentle presence.
