Hans J. Wegner designed the CH24 Wishbone Chair in 1949 for Carl Hansen und Søn, named after the characteristic Y-shaped backrest that combines the backrest and armrests in a single curved piece of wood. This set of four is made of glossy lacquered oak with black paper cord and shows slight signs of use on the armrests; otherwise the chairs are in very good condition. A Scandinavian design classic that is still produced today.
