Jasper Morrison's Plywood Chair was created in Berlin in 1988 as a counter-design to the loud postmodernism. Conceived in plywood and realized with simple means, the design remains clear, direct, and unpretentious to this day. Vitra briefly took the series into production shortly thereafter, but it is no longer manufactured. In a set of four, the idea unfolds most strongly: light presence, calm line, honest construction. The chairs fit at the dining table as well as in a minimalist studio. Good condition with slight signs of wear.
