This set of four Pajala chairs by IKEA dates back to the 1990s and showcases a quietly sculptural side of everyday design. The wiry steel frame appears light, while the double-arched backrest evokes Art Nouveau and French bistro chairs. The perforated seat adds a functional, graphic accent.
